{"id":860,"date":"2026-04-26T09:31:22","date_gmt":"2026-04-26T09:31:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/esport.com.ng\/?p=860"},"modified":"2026-04-26T09:31:22","modified_gmt":"2026-04-26T09:31:22","slug":"arteta-and-berta-want-to-sign-e60m-german-joker-to-provide-direct-competition-for-gabriel-martinelli","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/esport.com.ng\/?p=860","title":{"rendered":"Arteta and Berta want to sign \u20ac60m German \u2018joker\u2019 to \u2018provide direct competition for Gabriel Martinelli\u2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div><!-- Article Start --><\/p>\n<p>Arsenal want to bring Karim Adeyemi to the Emirates Stadium, according to a report, which has also revealed the transfer fee that the Gunners\u2019 sporting director, Andrea Berta, will have to sanction for the Borussia Dortmund star.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Adeyemi<\/strong> has been on the books of Dortmund since the summer of 2022, when he joined from FC Red Bull Salzburg and is under contract at the German club until 2027.<\/p>\n<p>The 24-year-old attacker has been a success at Dortmund, scoring 36 goals and providing 24 assists in 144 matches in all competitions so far in his career.<\/p>\n<p>Adeyemi is a very versatile attacking player who can operate as a centre-forward, second striker, right winger and left-winger.<\/p>\n<p>The Germany international has scored 10 goals and given five assists in 37 matches in all competitions this season.<\/p>\n<p>According to <em>Sports Boom<\/em>Dortmund are willing to sell Adeyemi for \u20ac60million (\u00a352m) in the summer transfer window, with <strong>Arsenal<\/strong> keen on securing his services to compete with <strong>Gabriel Martinelli<\/strong> for a place in manager Mikel Arteta\u2019s starting line-up.<\/p>\n<p><strong>READ: Man City or Arsenal?
