It\u2019s not yet final, as the player\u2019s preference is for the Premier League and Arsenal.<\/p>\n<p><smartframe-embed customer-id=\"7cb01038c3a13bcbaf0de8af7020f6a5\" image-id=\"8FQb2dzVMaCp\" style=\"width: 100%; display: inline-flex; max-width: 100%;\"\/><\/p>\n<p>\u2018The biggest difficulty, however, right now lies in the financial demands: a three-year contract worth \u20ac7 million plus substantial bonuses and a signing-on fee of \u20ac10 million. Newcastle must seize control of Howe\u2019s make-or-break summer<br \/><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Regarding exits, a report from <em>Football Insider\u2019s Pete O\u2019Rourke <\/em>claims the Gunners have chosen Ben White, bought for \u00a350m, and Gabriel Jesus, bought for \u00a345m, to be offloaded \u2018as part of a summer fire sale\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>Arsenal are also \u2018unlikely to stop at those two\u2019, but another report from<em> Football Insider<\/em> claims they have \u2018decided on the sale\u2019 of Riccardo Calafiori and want to keep him.<\/p>\n<p>Calafiori, who joined the club for \u00a342m, is currently competing with Piero Hincapie to be Arsenal\u2019s No.1 left-back and has attracted interest from Serie A giants Inter Milan, but his current club are \u2018not willing to entertain offers\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>The report claims: \u2018The Italian giants have identified the 23-year-old as a candidate to come in and strengthen their squad ahead of next season, but the Gunners view him as being too important to let go.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018The feeling behind the scenes at the Emirates Stadium is that the left-back has a huge future ahead of him, and sources say that he is expected to be \u201cone of the first names on the team sheet\u201d for Mikel Arteta once again next term.\u2019<\/p>\n<p><strong>READ NEXT: Who are the Premier League\u2019s highest-paid players?
