Mikel Arteta has been advised to drop an Arsenal star who \u201cfluffed his lines\u201d against Sporting as Jamie Carragher made a U-turn on a Gunners prediction.<\/p>\n

Havertz did that better and they looked a more composed team.\u201d<\/p>\n Wonderkid Max Dowman was introduced at a similar time to Havertz, around the hour mark, and Cole believes he too could have a big part to play vs Manchester City, particularly given Noni Madueke looked to pick up an injury on Wednesday.<\/p>\n \u201cIt would be a massive call (to start Dowman against Man City) but he is special, he\u2019s clearly special,\u201d Cole added.<\/p>\n \u201cWhat he\u2019s already done at the game at his age is incredible. He could start\u2026<\/p>\n \u201cArsenal were in a Champions League quarter-final tonight and Arteta turned to Dowman and that shows you the faith they have in him.<\/p>\n \u2018We might even see him on Sunday and that would be huge.\u201d<\/p>\n Before the start of the Champions League last-16 matches last month, Jamie Carragher predicted that Arsenal would beat PSG in the final in Budapest on May 30.<\/p>\n But he\u2019s now backtracked on that prediction, claiming Arsenal don\u2019t have the \u201cstar\u201d quality in attack to go all the way.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m not sure they\u2019ve got the quality in the attack,\u201d Carragher told CBS Sports.<\/p>\n \u201cThe game we just watched tonight (Bayern Munich vs Real Madrid), you think of the players on both teams, Arsenal don\u2019t have that.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s not a criticism, they just don\u2019t have those players in attack, they haven\u2019t.<\/p>\n \u201cSo, that\u2019s why I think when you get to the business end of the season, certainly in the Champions League\u2026 even though I tipped Arsenal to win it, I just don\u2019t believe it.<\/p>\n \u201cI can\u2019t see a team winning the Champions League who don\u2019t have a star in the front four, and they haven\u2019t got one.\u201d<\/p>\n <\/div>\n
