Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Anthony Gordon are among the targets Arsenal are monitoring as\u00a0they look to sign a left-winger this summer.<\/p>\n

The Premier League leaders want to bring in top-quality players that can improve their starting options with left wing one of the positions manager Mikel Arteta and sporting director Andrea Berta have been focusing on.<\/p>\n

Arsenal’s most frequently used players on the left wing, Leandro Trossard and Gabriel Martinelli, have one year remaining on their contracts after this season.<\/p>\n

PSG signed Kvaratskhelia in January 2025 and he has quickly established himself as one of their most important stars, playing a crucial role in last season’s treble-winning campaign.<\/p>\n

The winger, widely regarded as one of Europe’s most decisive players in one-vs-one situations, has 12 goals and seven assists this season for PSG.<\/p>\n

Sky Sports News<\/em> understands neither Kvaratskhelia nor PSG are contemplating a move for the forward this summer, as things stand.<\/p>\n

The Georgia international, recently appointed captain of his national team, has three years left on his PSG contract and the Qatari owners are under no financial pressure to sell.<\/p>\n

Newcastle are in an even stronger position with Gordon’s contract, which runs out in 2030.<\/p>\n

Sky Sports News<\/em> reported last summer that Rodrygo at Real Madrid is another player Arsenal have looked at for this position. However, the Brazil international is set to miss the rest of the season and World Cup with a serious knee injury.<\/p>\n

Central midfield is another priority for Arsenal, who are monitoring Sandro Tonali and Elliot Anderson ahead of a summer when many top clubs are focusing on that position. They are also looking at full-back.<\/p>\n

However, it will not be as straightforward as committing huge transfer fees to these players.<\/p>\n

Although PSR restrictions are not currently a concern, Arsenal will need to sell some players to be able to afford the kind of fees these targets would command.<\/p>\n
