Michael Owen insists Arsenal are \u201cnot happy\u201d with Viktor Gyokeres and says they will \u201cmove heaven and earth\u201d for \u201ca Thierry Henry\u201d.<\/p>\n
Gyokeres<\/strong> joined the Gunners for \u00a355m in the summer and has scored 21 goals in 54 games across all competitions.<\/p>\n Wayne Rooney picked out the big Swede as his Premier League signing of the season<\/strong>claiming \u201che\u2019s given Arsenal something a bit different and that\u2019s been a big factor in them winning the Premier League.\u201d<\/p>\n But Owen isn\u2019t having it and instead claims that Arsenal are \u201cnot happy\u201d with the 27-year-old and should take the \u201crisk\u201d of sourcing \u201ca Thierry Henry\u201d.<\/p>\n \u201cThey\u2019ve won it playing like this at the moment, that\u2019s not to say they\u2019re going to be like this forever,\u201d Owen told Premier League Productions.<\/p>\n \u201cArsenal would love to find another centre-forward \u2013 they\u2019re not happy with Gyokeres really. They\u2019re not happy with a couple of positions.<\/p>\n \u201cIf someone comes available that\u2019s top, if a Thierry Henry becomes available again, they\u2019d move heaven and earth to get somebody like that in.<\/p>\n \u201cThat might change the dynamic of things as well. Okay, they\u2019re not the greatest of watches, granted, I\u2019d say that, but that\u2019s not to say they\u2019ll be like that forever. They might evolve, they might get better.<\/p>\n \u201cThey\u2019ve got to be careful, like a Liverpool, spending \u00a3400 million over a summer trying to be even better again, and they ruin what they\u2019ve got. That\u2019s the risk, that\u2019s the management, that\u2019s the next stage.\u201d<\/p>\n READ MORE: Ranking Andrea Berta\u2019s best decisions in first year as Arsenal sporting director<\/strong><\/p>\n Owen also tipped Arsenal to retain their title as a lot of their Premier League rivals are \u201cstruggling\u201d.<\/p>\n \u201cWe thought about Liverpool last season but I certainly think about Arsenal, you can see them repeating what they\u2019ve just done,\u201d Owen added.<\/p>\n \u201cThis is a very, very strong, solid, efficient team that you can see they\u2019re going to do it again. You can see them knocking that points total together again.<\/p>\n \u201cAnd when you look at the opposition, Liverpool are in turmoil, Chelsea are in turmoil, they\u2019re playing really poorly, Manchester United are upwardly mobile at the moment but they\u2019ve still got a lot of surgeries, a couple of big players going, European football to contend with, it might be a year too early.<\/p>\n \u201cA lot of the top teams are struggling at the moment. There is an opportunity for Arsenal, if they keep that consistency, which I can\u2019t see any reason why they wouldn\u2019t.
