Gary Neville has omitted Arsenal right-back Jurrien Timber from his Premier League Team of the Season, but Jamie Carragher has not, with the two Sky Sports pundits also including Manchester United attacking midfielder Bruno Fernandes.<\/p>\n
Arsenal<\/strong> have been the best team in the Premier League this season and could become the champions of England for the first time since 2004.<\/p>\n Mikel Arteta\u2019s side have also reached the final of the Champions League, where they will face last season\u2019s champions, Paris Saint-Germain.<\/p>\n As Arsenal march towards glory, former Manchester United star Gary Neville<\/strong> and ex-Liverpool ace Jamie Carragher<\/strong> have been picking their respective Team of the Season.<\/p>\n Just as you expect, both the Sky Sports pundits have chosen a number of Arsenal players,<\/p>\n Both Neville and Carragher believe that Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya has been the best player in his position in the Premier League.<\/p>\n READ: Liverpool: Carragher compares \u2018selfish\u2019 Salah to Man Utd hero after Slot \u2018bomb\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n The two pundits have picked Arsenal centre-backs William Saliba and Gabriel.<\/p>\n Former Liverpool defender Carragher believes that Arsenal star Jurrien Timber has been the best right-back in the Premier League this season.<\/p>\n However, former Man Utd right-back Neville has picked Matheus Nunes of Manchester City instead.<\/p>\n In fact, Neville has picked more Man City<\/strong> players than Arsenal stars in his Team of the Season.<\/p>\n Bernardo Silva, Nico O\u2019Reilly, Antoine Semenyo, Jeremy Doku and Erling Haaland are the other Man City players in the former Man Utd star\u2019s Team of the Season.<\/p>\n READ MORE: Liverpool maintains place as biggest club in England with huge kit launch plan<\/strong><\/p>\n Neville also believes that Man Utd<\/strong> attacking midfielder Bruno Fernandes deserves a place in the Team of the Season, and Carragher agrees.<\/p>\n Carragher, too, has picked Fernandes as his only Man Utd player in his Team of the Year.<\/p>\n The Sky Sports pundit has also picked O\u2019Reilly, Semenyo, Haaland and Silva in his team.<\/p>\n Carragher added that he would pick Rice over Fernandes as the Premier League Player of the Season.<\/p>\n The pundit explained: \u201cNo, I don\u2019t quite understand it and I\u2019m a huge fan of Bruno.<\/p>\n \u201cBut when I\u2019m deciding on Player of the Year and you\u2019re picking a player whose games this season have not had any real jeopardy\u2026<\/p>\n \u201cFor me, I\u2019d go with\u00a0Declan Rice.
